17 The Facades of Fantasyland

Are you ready for the deepest Disneyland For Designers dive yet? Today we walk around the park and look at the details of Walt's favorite land Fantasyland. But we go a little deeper than most, because that's our thing, as look at The Facades of Fantasyland. Recreated in 1983, New Fantasyland took a Renaissance fair and converted it into a European Village where each pocket of the land would be transformed into a unique villagers' house or shop—transforming 5 buildings into a little village protected by the walls of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
